Love is like……

I was going through some random websites and came across this poem. In a really simple yet realistic way the anonymous poet has described the great emotion of love so beautifully. You see i believe that love isn’t something that you can force upon someone you can either love someone truly or not love them at all.

 

“Love is like a little bird sitting on a tree,
If you try to catch it, it will only flee.
Love is like a bright flower in full bloom,
If you reach out and pluck it, it will die soon.
Love is like a clear stream running to the sea,
If you try to block it, it will break free.
Love like a beautiful butterfly, full of gaiety,
If you move to touch it, it will fly to safety.
Love is like a cherished dream of a distant land
If you want to buy it, it will turn to sand.
Love is a glorious promise, sincere and true,
If you want love, wait for it to find you.”
